I work with a local hospice agency and spend A LOT of time in this facility. It is by far one of if not THE best in town. The whole staff is compassionate and always so attentive to their residents. It doesn’t matter if it’s “their” patient, they really treat the resident like they’re at home. I play bingo with the residents and it warms my heart when I see the crew come help, rub backs and ALWAYS have a positive attitude. We have also sent some of our patients there for respite care and the feedback is always positive. I visited with one of our families during their stay and the staff would come in not only to check on the patient but also the family, to meet their needs and assure they’re comfortable during their stay. I would trust them with my family’s care.

I love this facility. They are taking great care of my brother. The HR Department is awesome. They care so much about the wellbeing of everyone there, from the residents to all the staff members. As well, HR ensures that guests and family members are well informed. Then there’s the therapy department. They’re so skilled in their work with the residents, and you see residents improving. Dietary and laundry are awesome, and Housekeeping takes great pride in the cleanliness there. The receptionist is like a breath of fresh air, because she’s so polite and always smiling. Her name is Mischelle. Maintenance stays on top of everything to make sure it all flows like a well-oiled machine. Sometimes I don’t even want to leave.

The facility was very clean, staff were very nice and professional as well. The front receptionist, Michelle was very helpful. Was there about future retirement for my mother. She’s getting up in age.

As someone who goes into 12+ nursing facilities in the area, I see many different approaches and policies. This facility goes above and beyond to make the facility a comfortable home for residents. The staff are dedicated to helping residents live their best and most independent lives. They’re always making changes and taking resident input to be the best facility they can.

I’m so happy to have my mom here with you all. She has shown so much improvement in only a few days . I’m so impressed by the kindness and caring love I feel here. My mom got up and in to her chair without me lifting her today. She is eating and speaking so clearly. I’m truly grateful for this facility and its team. Really I love you guys thank you so much. Her old facility suggested hospice but with you she is blossoming.

I work in hospice and am in this building often!! The staff are always so warm, welcoming, and making sure their patients are taken care of. I recommend this facility to every person I have the honor or serving. the building is always so clean and well managed as well.

I would like to say that this is a very well staffed establishment. The nurses go above and beyond for their parents. The kitchen staff are highly diligent on the manner and way each individual patients palettes/dietary needs are met. They take great care in the way not only the patients are treated but in the way the staff interact with each other. It’s very important that everyone feels valuable, understood, and loved. All of these things are present at Waco Healthcare Rehabilitation.

Waco Healthcare And Rehab is such a warm community. They’re always busy with activities for the residents and their nurses and caregivers are tremendous!

The staff from top to bottom are very genuine and good hearted. Always having the resident care in mind first.

This rehabilitation has the best staff my family could have asked for to care for my grandmother Susanna. The nurses were so awesome and kind, I never had to worry about my grandmother in their care. Thank you for all you do! Keep up the great work!

I was really looking forward to spending time with my dad for the holidays. And I have to be honest and say, I was very pleased with Christmas gathering they had. My family and I made memories to last a long time this holiday. Thank you so much Waco Healthcare, you guys are the best.

This is a very nice clean friendly facility. The staff is amazing and wonderful and caring. They treat you like family. I love this place. Definitely give it a chance, you won’t regret it.

I have been visiting folks at Waco Healthcare for several years and I am consistently impressed with the care patients receive. Taylor (the social worker) deeply cares about the mental health and well being of the patients. Teresa makes getting patients admitted easy. Nurse Kim deeply cares for the individuals and even the front desk person (Mischele) knows the names and schedules of so many. Patients aren’t just a number here.

The staff at Waco Healthcare and Rehabilitation (WHR) did a fabulous job trying to accommodating my father. They were extremely patient with him and did everything they could to provide him with a healthy diet that he would eat. I recommend WHR to anyone considering long-term care for a loved one.

All the staff was very courteous and helpful. They took great care of my Mother for the time she was there. Therapy was great and the room was very nice. Many thanks to all the staff and caregivers.

My brother was in this facility for months. The staff there was great and the Administration was awesome. The stay there was excellent. Upon his arrival he could not walk or transfer himself from the bed into the wheel chair. The Rehabilitation Department came in and worked with him they worked really hard to get him up and help him walk again. Before he was discharged he was able to transfer himself from the bed into the wheel chair. They started the process of him being able to walk again. I would recommend this facility to everyone. Very friendly professional and family oriented.

Healthcare in nursing home has changed through COVID. Waco HC has the best team that cares for you physically, holistically and mentally. Their team tries hard every day to give you the best experience for your short time there or make it YOUR HOME when it comes to long term care.

I’ve chose Waco Healthcare basically because of the previous places that I have been in really were poor nursing centers, and once I moved over to Waco Healthcare I realized how wonderful the staff is here, including the nursing and the CNA‘s who go way beyond to call of duty. I wouldn’t live anywhere else but here. Thank God that I finally found Waco Healthcare!

I appreciate the care and concern from the staff here. My issues are addressed quickly and they keep me updated on things going on with my loved one. The facility is always clean and well maintained.

I had a great experience here. I first spoke with Chelsey over the phone and after talking to her decided to come take a tour and get more information for a loved one we are considering placing in their care for rehabilitation. I met with Chelsey again and she was very informative. The facility was very clean and the services they provide were explained in detail. My family and I will be using them for our loved one’s rehabilitation.

My mom was here for several months before she passed on; but her care at this facility was superb. Even though my mom had agitated dementia and was a handful, she was treated with dignity and respect. Highly recommend!!!

This place has helped me immensely considering when I walked in the door I couldn’t walk – I was rolling on a gurney. I love this place so much that I probably could have considered it to be my permanent home. I’ve been rehabilitated and walking!

Great staff especially the Physical Therapy Department.

Facility is always striving for better care, better quality of life while making it the home away from home for the residents. Stable staff and excellent food service. Another good thing about this facility is that therapy works early with residents to prevent decline in functioning. Rehab is outstanding. It is a miracle to see residents go home after doing therapy post acute hospitalization. Definitely bring your loved one here!
