Memory Care

Our 54-bed secure memory care unit provides a multi-level, unique approach to help improve the quality of life for residents with various types of memory impairments, such as Alzheimer’s and other dementias.

At Waco Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center, we aim to provide an environment where individuals can live safely, securely, and comfortably. Our staff members receive specialized training to work with this population, and they understand the complexities of the disease, its progression over time, and the needs that arise.

We provide security and medical services as well as access to a wide range of activities to encourage social and cognitive stimulation. These activities are essential for mental health, particularly as one ages. It makes dementia more manageable, encourages independence, and reduces feelings of isolation. Engaging recreation programs are designed to stimulate memory, promote joy, and enhance daily living.

24/7 skilled care and supervision
